Weekly Update 8.30.18

PSL, really?

I am not sure your thoughts on the afore mentioned beverage, but Starbucks has released earlier than ever the Pumpkin Spice latte, which to me says fall.  Fall for us means race time, long runs, and much more relaxing running conditions, so get out and enjoy cooler temps for your runs. No matter your feelings on PSL, it appears that this week signals that temps are eventually going to move closer to sweatshirts and jeans weather, maybe.

Group Run: We will meet at the Community Gym in Cedarburg 7am Saturday morning, and head South on the “Meekwon Golf Course.”  You can see the full route if you follow the group run link to our website.  There will be water and Gatorade on the route, but feel free to carry what you need also.

Run, Run, Run: Summer and fall are traditionally race time, so please let us know what races are on your schedule, so we can cheer you on!!!

Lakefront Water Stop: It’s that time of year again. Once again a combination of Run Ozaukee, Be3/Z-Force will help to man the water stop at mile 20 of Lakefront Marathon. I’m looking for volunteers again this year to help out on Sunday October 7th. Please let me know if you are interested or if you know of anyone that may want to help.

If your children are interested in helping that is great we will find places for them.  For more information please contact John Taylor. There is a registration form you need to complete to volunteer at the race, and he will direct you to all that information.

Per usual, hang around after our run for a cup of coffee at Fiddleheads!!!
